The St Louis Iron Mountain Railway offers great train rides for all ages, on different themes throughout the year. Kids can choose if they want to enjoy a dinosaur or chocolate train ride and more. The train stops at an outlaw village and most rides include a mocked robbery to add some thrill.
Key Information: Adults are $17 and kids $10. Snacks are available at some stops and bathrooms are on site.
Good To Know: The café on site has a great play area as well so you can make a day out of it.
Silver Dollar City is one of the most beloved amusement parks in Missouri. You can ride a thrilling mountain coaster through the Ozarks! In addition to its many rides, it features 100 resident craftsmen demonstrating some of the United States’ heritage crafts. It has some of the most unique shops in Missouri, award-winning restaurants, and daily live entertainment.
Key Information: Admission is $79 for adults and $69 for kids under 12 – changing tables in every park restroom – five private nursing stations available.

6.See the Iconic Gateway Arch
The Gateway Arch symbolizes the opening of the American West. It is a sign of the country’s expansion after the American Revolution. Take a tram ride to the tip-top for an amazing view.
Key Information: Basic admission is $3 – most of the park is wheelchair accessible – food onsite.
Good To Know: The trams up to the top of the Arch do not have room for strollers.
Big Joel’s Safari lets you get close enough to touch and feed many of the resident animals. Kids can play with pygmy goats, alpacas, and over sixty more species at Big Joel’s.
Key Information: $12 for adults, $10 for kids – no food allowed in the park – may be challenging for strollers.
Good To Know: If you’re local, a season pass pays for itself after 2-3 visits.
St. Louis’s City Museum is a hundred-year-old warehouse that artists have turned into a gigantic playground with miles of tunnels, slides, bridges, and castles. Even adults feel like kids again at the City Museum!
Key Information: $18 – food onsite – toddler-friendly play area on the 3rd floor.
Good To Know: To encourage exploration, there isn’t a site map for the City Museum, so ask staff members if you’re looking for something specific.
The spectacular Bridal Cave is one of the most breathtaking caverns in the country and has incredible rock formations, tons of local history, and knowledgeable guides.
Key Information: Admission is $22 for adults and $11 for kids – tours last about an hour – not stroller-friendly
Good To Know: Keep an eye out in the “chapel” room of the cave– you might just see an actual wedding ceremony in progress!

Arcade City is a fun entertainment center in Branson that makes every kid feel like a winner. There are hundreds of games and thousands of fantastic prizes to win.
Key Information: Game cards start at $20 – changing tables in the restrooms.
Good To Know: Arcade City is part of the Branson Landing entertainment complex, so there’s plenty of dining options nearby.
