Maud is the visionary founder behind GoWhee, the only global travel app designed exclusively for families.
Born out of Maud’s personal journey, GoWhee is a testament to her passion for making family adventures seamless and enjoyable. During an extensive RV trip across Europe alongside her husband and toddler son, Maud identified a glaring gap in travel resources: the lack of comprehensive information tailored to families seeking fun and practical destinations. Frustrated by the absence of reliable guidance for parents, she embarked on a mission to create a solution.
In April 2020, Maud launched GoWhee 1.0, creating the first and, still only, worldwide travel app designed for family fun. A community of early adopters, influencers in space, and community leaders in the industry of family travel (i.e traveling with kids worldwide Facebook group) quickly joined GoWhee’s mission and received the app with enthusiasm. GoWhee was also recognized as groundbreaking for families by major media outlets like Fodors Travel, Parents, CBS network, and more.
After years of unprecedented challenges for the tourism industry, followed by a sequence of headlines demonstrating a growing intolerance towards traveling families- paired with a shocking tolerance for child-privacy violations within social media platform companies- Maud decided that GoWhee needed a new direction, with a few new objectives.
