At GoWhee, we are parents ourselves! We understand the importance of safeguarding children’s privacy online. Unfortunately, social media platforms collect vast amounts of data on young users, and this issue is getting worst with the arrival of AI.

“I love sharing about the gems I found after a great trip, but I am not comfortable to put my private info out there for everyone to see. I also had a real issue with giving full right of every family picture to a random social media company!” – Maud  Maciak, Founder of GoWhee

Introducing GoWhee’s Child Privacy Feature

We’ve developed a user-friendly “Child Privacy” feature to help you share your family adventures at peace.
When activated on a photo within the app, this feature automatically blurs the faces of any children depicted. This allows you to share precious moments while minimizing the online exposure of your little ones.
At GoWhee we care more about what makes the place amazing and we believe in giving our members the choice to share more or less based on their comfort level.

Protecting Your Choices

When you activate the “Child Privacy” feature on a photo it generates automatically a second layer of protection. Our team is committed to not sharing that image publicly on our social media channels or website. We respect your decision and prioritize your child’s privacy.

Important Note:

The “Child Privacy” feature is available for photos containing faces only. We encourage you to explore this feature and join us in fostering a responsible online environment for children. Together, we can change the status quo in digital privacy and give families a mean to share their travel experiences while safeguarding the privacy of young explorers.
